A Peace-ful Marriage

Michael Edward Peace and Hannah Lucy Males were married at Romsey Abbey on 24th August. Michael and Hannah first met at Romsey School and their friendship finally blossomed after Hannah had finished university in Plymouth.
Hannah, Daughter of Colin and Helen Males of Whiteparish is a Occupational Therapist at Melbury Lodge, Winchester and Michael, Son of Simon Peace and Maggie Drodge is a Funeral Director in Romsey at the family business A.H. Cheater Ltd.
Vicar of Romsey the Reverend Tim Sledge officiated at the service.
The Bride wore a fitted lace dress designed by Justin Alexander with a full length veil.
She was given away by her father Colin. Her Bridesmaids were school friends, Jess Evans, Sarah Brown and Kate Holden and they all wore the ‘alana lace dress’ from Ted Bakers collection which was a light dusky pink colour.
The groom and Best Man Mark Stent wore grey morning suits with matching waistcoats.
A reception for 100 people was held in a marquee at Lapwing Farm, Old Salisbury Lane and guest enjoyed a three coarse sit down meal. A further 75 guests joined them for the evening where The Whiteparish Parish All Stars, including the Brides father as drummer, performed until late into the evening.
The bride and groom then went on a safari honeymoon to Tanzania followed by some relaxing on the island of Zanzibar.
